The Dutchtronix AVR Oscilloscope Clock Enhanced Kit is the ultimate scope clock. It includes true BNC connectors, 2 tactile switches for fast clock control, a complete serial interface, including RS-232 level conversion and DB-9 connector, and it uses the latest Atmega328p AVR running firmware 3.5a which has multiple applications built-in.
Once upgraded to the Enhanced kit you'll enjoy much faster clock control using the two tactile switches, including auto repeat functionality, full communication abilities, incl. GPS clock support, easy BNC cable hookup to your scope and easy firmware upgrades.
If you purchased your clock from a distributor other than South Holland Trading, you probably received the basic or standard kit. This is a fine working Scope Clock but now it's easy to populate those missing components on your scope clock using this upgrade kit; your clock will be the Enhanced version after this upgrade, identical with no differences.
Note: Scope Clock Kits numbered SPF351 and above are "Standard Kits"; these Standard kits have been sold by Sparkfun Electronics since Jan. 20, 2009 and have a sticker marked "AVR Clock 3.5". Scope Clock kits purchased at Tuxgraphics, Electrokit or Sparkfun Electronics numbers SPF350 and below are "Basic Kits"; they have a sticker marked "AVR Clock 3.3". We have this upgrade kit, preloaded with the V3.5a firmware, in stock; it usually ships within 1-2 business days.
Domestic shipping with Delivery Confirmation using US Postal Service First Class Mail is included. International shipping is $2.00 per kit. Canada is $1.00 per kit. No insurance is included. Due to the dramatic price hikes by the USPS in recent years, the cost for international insured shipping is prohibitive ($22.50) so we're not offering that service.

This kit upgrades your existing Dutchtronix AVR Oscilloscope Clock Hardware 3-1 Standard version to the Enhanced version. It is not a complete self-contained oscilloscope clock.
There are no USB components included in the Enhanced kits nor are they included in this upgrade kit.
You will have to remove the short wire from the footprint of on-off switch S3 before installing S3 itself. See the Standard Kit Assembly instructions, second paragraph:
